A mug with a flat mouth and an octagonal bottom.

The key point is the mismatch between the delicate form and the rough glaze that looks like a different material. This mug is lightweight, easy to hold, and highly practical. The brass color has a subdued color and texture reminiscent of antique metal tableware, and it is hard to believe that it is pottery. Each time it is used, the color of the vessel changes little by little due to oil and acid, making it a vessel that truly grows. The color changes over time are also enjoyable. The color of the food and dishes that are paired with it stand out.

The ANCIENT POTTERY series

Antiques and artist-made tableware are admired by many. They are expensive, and people often worry about actually using them... They hesitate, and in the end, their admiration remains just that—admiration.
The Ancient Pottery series captures the details of antiques and artist pieces but is made from solid stoneware—a very practical type of tableware suited to modern lifestyles. This product was created together with potters from Mino, using Mino materials and techniques, with the desire to make refinement more accessible. This tableware may be your first step toward realizing your dreams.
