CHIPS HEUGE RICE BOWL SETOGURO

Pottery from the Momoyama period is also known as "Hikidashi Kuro" (drawer black) or "Tensho Kuro" (Tensho black) due to the firing method and the era in which it was fired. One of its defining features is its glossy, deep, jet-black glaze, which is so opaque that the color of the base material is not visible.

In order to create a Setoguro ware that can be used widely on the modern dining table, we used modern glaze mixtures and techniques rather than the same techniques as in the past to achieve a glossy, truly jet black color. Enjoy the contrast between the unique black-on-black tableware and the colorful ingredients.

Rice bowl with a neat shape called a flat shape. It has been popular among Japanese people since ancient times, and when you hold it, the shape of your hand and the bowl look very beautiful. Another point is that the presentation looks well-balanced regardless of the amount of rice.
